I made this cover of Beyonce and Lagy Gaga's 'Video Phone' a while back and thought I'd share. I love acapella music and this song was pretty irresistible. I hope you enjoy -- share this with your peeps! On another note: I miss North Carolina and the beautiful people and family I have there! I keep having to remind myself that it takes months to build a house...
I've been working on a honey-souled D'Angelo meets Justin Timberlake hip-hop record with my pal Turrell Brown. I'll certainly keep my beloved fans posted when the new material is 'dropped.' Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by!.
Oh yeah! I'm playing at SCHUBAS on Monday, July 5th, for the NY Songwriter's circle with Starina, Brendan Losch, Dan Price, Cyndy Fike (from the band NELKEN) and Julia Klee. Why not stop by and get a slice?
My gal pal Kellin Watson and I covered Smokey Robinson's "Tracks of My Tears." Check out our version below and be sure to send the link to all of your friends so we can become overnight YouTube sensations! Hey, Isn't that EVERYONE'S ultimate dream? I kid. I kid.
Just wanted to pop my head in with a couple Updates!!!
First and foremost, THANK YOU to all who attend the White Horse Black Mountain CD RELEASE party!!! I had a complete freakin' BLAST. I'm still recovering! I find that when I'm exposed to super electric social scenarios, I NEED to cocoon for a while. So, I've been kicking back in the mountain house and layin' low for a while.
The day of the release show, I was invited to play on Asheville's #1 Progressive Talk Radio station 880 The Revolution. You can catch the video below...
This month I'm in between moving houses, the LEAF festival, beach trips, and figuring out what major city to move to by September. Crazy, right? BUT rest assured, I'm putting together gigs as we speak and this summer is beginning to look promising. In July, I'm working with Miss BLUES herself (not my mom!) but the completely amazing blues vocalist and regional favorite Peggy Ratusz for the All Star Blues Jam @ Tressa's downtown Asheville. The evening will feature award winning musicians all rotating in and out for am explosive soul/blues extravaganza. A ZJB Jack of the Wood show is set for Saturday Aug 29. Mark your calendars early!! Go ahead. Do it. I'll also be heading to and from Cleveland to work on some more musical creative projects....more details to come.
Well, you've made it. We are VERY pleased to announce: 1) the launch of ZachBlew.com and 2) the arrival of Zach's debut album, Tonight In This Motel, (available now in the store). It's been like Christmas in April around here. No time for wordy, jibber-jabber; enjoy a formal greeting from Zach himself:
Heard about you through local theater circles and saw the 880 video. Congrats on the new CD. I just downloaded it from Amazon and am thoroughly enjoying it. Best of luck!
Hey... really good stuff. Awesome voice, rich words... keep it up because you have enough talent to rise above the average joe's.

Hey Zach, my daughter Katie played your CD for us and I love it! (Thanks for letting her join you for the pic on the cover:)) Bought it on iTunes. I'm going to try to catch one of your concerts in Asheville. I look forward to meeting you, finally! Best of luck for your efforts and I'm praying you'll get the guidance you need for the best next step. Take care!

Love your music :) I also love Lime La Croix. Glad to see someone else drinks it! I used to cheer with Cam at NC State. I think we met a once or twice. You're very talented!
